Content Node Sequential Message
1 minute readSequential message allows you to define the next step after a particular content node.
How is this useful?
Adding a delay between messages will allow your end-user some time to read the message prior to the next one being sent. This will also make the virtual assistant look more human-like, as people usually need time to type between messages.
How do I add sequential messages?
You can follow this steps to add sequential messages:
- After a content node has been created, at the bottom of the content node, click on ‘+ Next step’.
- Select the Event type. These are the different actions that can be taken.
For full details on the different type of actions, refer to Options for Buttons. - You may want to add some time delay between each message. Click on ‘+ Delay’, and a slider will appear. To set the time delay, drag the slider to the number of seconds you would like to set. The maximum time delay is 60 seconds.
- Click on the tick on the header bar to save the content node.
